David C. McCue

Mr. McCue's practice focuses on commercial litigation including business disputes, trade secret litigation, and confidential and proprietary matters. It also includes securities arbitrations and litigation. Commercial litigation also involves employment law matters, as well as products liability defense. His practice has extended to litigation in both federal and state courts and to federal multi-district litigation. Significant legal representation includes defense of railroads in FELA litigation, defense of aviation entities including aviation disasters, and regulatory matters.

Representation of physicians and health care facilities in medical negligence claims, in peer review matters, as personal counsel for physicians and their practices, and in mass torts is also a significant portion of Mr. McCue's varied practice. Medical matters involve both litigation and transactional issues for physicians and their practices.

Jim Halter

  • Masters in Business Administration, in Corporate Finance/Taxation from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
  • Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Texas and New York.
  • Juris Doctor, Case Western Reserve University, concentrating in business and tax law, Cleveland, Ohio.

Drawing on his many years of experiences as a CPA and as the CFO/General Counsel for publicly owned companies, Jim brings a real world business perspective to his clients’ problems. His practice is devoted to helping clients in controversy with taxing authorities. He also helps formulate, negotiate and review a myriad of contractual matters for his clients.

Mr. Halter has prepared and presented Texas Bar Association mentoring programs. He is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and is licensed to practice in the United States Tax Court. He is a member of the Dallas County Bar Association.

Susan Periquet

  • Graduated from East Texas State University with a degree in business administration.
  • Earned her law degree from Oklahoma City University in 1994.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
  • Member of the State Bar in Texas, Collin County Bar Association, and Plano Bar Association.

Susan practices estate planning and probate law, ensuring that our clients make the right decisions for themselves, their loved ones, and generations to come. Susan is also certified to serve as a court-appointed attorney ad litem and guardian ad litem in probate and guardianship cases.

Susan currently serves the Collin County Bar Association as President, Chairman of the Fee Dispute Resolution Committee, as well as serving as a director of the Estate Planning and Probate Section.

Susan has served the Plano Bar Association as President, President-Elect, Newsletter Co-Editor, and Director of Continuing Legal Education. She currently serves the organization as a member of the National Adoption Day committee.

Mary Sullivan

Ms. Sullivan is of counsel to the Law Office of David C. McCue, P.C.. She has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 2000. Most recently, she has practiced in the areas of civil litigation, medical and legal malpractice defense, and the defense of white collar crime.

Licensed to practice law in New York State since 1985, Ms. Sullivan remains of counsel to Gannon, Gannon & Sullivan, L.L.P. in Buffalo, New York, the firm with which she practiced for 15 years. While in Buffalo, she handled personal injury actions for plaintiffs, as well as family law and criminal matters. She tried dozens of criminal cases to verdict in New York, including several in which her clients were charged with homicide.

Ms. Sullivan is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Western District of New York, and for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. In 2003 and 2004, she was recognized by the Dallas Bar Association as an Outstanding Volunteer for her work in the East and West Legal Clinics, and was featured as one of the “Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program’s Finest” in the May 2004 issue of Headnotes, a publication of the Dallas Bar Association.

Ms. Sullivan graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York College at Buffalo in 1981 with a B.S. in education. She received her J.D. in 1984 from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. She resides in Addison, Texas with her husband, three dogs, and two cats.
